My work

The surgical treatment of cutaneous melanoma is the second area of my clinical work.
I have a particular interest in the role of sentinel lymph node biopsy in oncologic staging and treatment planning.
Research and medical education
I am a co-author of several scientific articles in oncologic surgery and I am actively involved in medical education, as an assistant lecturer at the “Carol Davila” University of Medicine and Pharmacy.
I aim to contribute to the evidence-based optimisation of surgical protocols. I am also interested in integrating emerging technologies, such as augmented reality and artificial intelligence, into surgical oncology.
How I work
Each treatment plan is personalised and is set after a full assessment, in the multidisciplinary oncology board (Tumor Board), taking into account each patient’s situation and preferences.
